Scope and Service
This policy applies to Spotlight Boosts, fixed-duration digital promotional-placement services sold directly by Codartt for eligible, already-published Codartt posts.
Codartt does not collect payments on behalf of creators and does not provide creator payouts, escrow, marketplace settlement, or user-to-user payment processing.
A Spotlight Boost does not guarantee impressions, unique viewers, clicks, likes, saves, follows, profile visits, post opens, external contact, sales, employment, commissions, or any other outcome.
Manual Review and Full-Refund-Only Rule
No refund is automatic. Codartt manually reviews each request against trusted payment evidence, the exact promotion and capture mapping, service delivery, eligibility and moderation history where relevant, existing refund, reversal, dispute, or chargeback evidence, applicable law, and binding payment-provider requirements.
Codartt does not offer partial or prorated refunds. When a refund is approved, Codartt normally refunds the exact full amount captured for the selected completed capture and never more than the amount actually captured.
For a proven duplicate completed payment, Codartt may refund the full amount of the excess capture while preserving the intended purchase. A duplicate notification or browser event is not a duplicate payment when only one capture completed.
Codartt does not issue a second refund when PayPal, a card issuer, or another binding provider process has already refunded or reversed the same payment.
When a Full Refund May Be Considered
A full refund may be considered for a proven excess duplicate capture, captured payment for which service never activated because of a Codartt technical failure, material Codartt-caused non-delivery, or another verified circumstance for which the founder approves a full refund after the required review.
If activation was delayed but the full purchased duration was later delivered, or the Spotlight period completed normally, a refund is normally unavailable unless mandatory law or a binding provider outcome requires otherwise.
Poor engagement, ordinary feed variation, disappointing results, browser closure, an SDK error, a timeout, or an uncertain browser response does not by itself establish refund eligibility or prove that no payment completed.
Change of Mind and Service Already Started
If no capture completed, there is no captured amount for Codartt to refund. A change-of-mind request after capture but before service starts requires manual review and is not automatically refundable. Once service starts, or after it completes, change of mind is normally not refundable.
Where service was partially delivered, Codartt does not calculate a prorated amount. The case must be escalated for a decision between an exact full refund, no discretionary refund, or any different remedy required by mandatory law.
A refund does not automatically restart, extend, or replace a Spotlight Boost. Codartt does not provide replacement service by default.
Eligibility, Moderation, and User Actions
A post or account becoming ineligible, being moderated, suspended, banned, deleted, or voluntarily removed does not automatically create a refund. Codartt reviews when the ineligibility arose, who caused the non-delivery, how much service was delivered, and whether safety, fraud, abuse, manipulation, misrepresentation, or policy violations were involved.
Except where mandatory law or a binding provider outcome requires otherwise, a refund is normally unavailable when non-delivery or interruption resulted from the purchaser's content, conduct, voluntary deletion, account action, fraud, payment abuse, manipulated engagement, misleading information, or violation of Codartt policies.
Codartt-caused non-delivery remains separately reviewable and may support an exact full refund.
Reversals, Disputes, and Chargebacks
An open PayPal dispute or chargeback normally freezes separate discretionary refund action to avoid duplicate recovery. PayPal or the relevant financial institution controls its own process and outcome; Codartt does not guarantee a result or deadline.
Active PayPal dispute communications normally occur through PayPal's Resolution Center or Codartt's official support email. A dispute resolved for Codartt does not create a refund merely because the dispute was raised. A buyer-favour result is recorded as provider financial truth and must not trigger a second refund.
A reversal, open dispute, completed refund, or other financial hold stops paid placement conservatively without rewriting the original service window or metrics. A seller-favour result does not automatically restart, extend, or replace service.
How to Request Review
Contact support@codartt.com with the local SPOT-{PROMOTION_UUID} reference, a concise description of the problem, and relevant dates or facts. The request channel is support-driven; Codartt does not provide a public financial form or attachment archive.
Do not send card or funding details, PayPal credentials, billing or shipping addresses, OAuth information, unrelated account or content data, or provider transaction identifiers unless Codartt specifically requests one through a separately approved secure process.
Codartt may ask for limited additional facts. Request receipt does not promise eligibility, a decision time, PayPal posting time, reactivation, replacement service, extension, or any engagement or commercial result.
Mandatory Rights and External Handling
Applicable mandatory law, a binding PayPal or card-network outcome, or an order of a competent authority overrides a discretionary no-refund rule where required.
If a legally required remedy cannot be executed through Codartt's exact-full-refund tooling, Codartt will escalate it for approved external handling and exact subsequent reconciliation. This limitation of Codartt's tooling does not remove a non-excludable legal right.
